Childhood Ovarian Cancer Symposium

Keeping The Spirit of Hope Alive

Occurred June 25, 2022

This event was open to scientific/medical specialists in the field as well as patients and their families. We We know have a better understanding of what needs to be done in the field of childhood ovarian cancer.


Summer 2021

quilts summer 2021 This summer we received another donation of quilts from a generous donor. These quilts go a long way in providing support to those affected. They will be given to girls in treatment and will surely bring smiles!

December 2020

quilts December 2020 This December we received another donation of quilts! These quilts will be delivered alongside our information packets to young girls in treatment.

September 2020

cgynca-donation This September is both Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month! Throughout this month we will try to spread awareness for childhood ovarian cancer. To find out more about Awareness month, visit us here.

cgynca-donation While we are home due to COVID-19, we are dedicated to our work at the non-profit. This includes several updates to our website, as well as the planning of several events in the upcoming years. Including an Ovarian Cancer Day retreat in 2021! 2018

cgynca-donation cgynca-donation September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Learn more about helping the fight against childhood gynecologic cancer here. Each child that we hear has been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer receives a quilt and other gifts to help them through their recovery process. Recently, we have received several beautiful quilts from Lynn Miller and her cohort quilters, as well as Karen Berch. Thank you!

The creative team at COVCA has incorporated these beautiful quilts along with our patient information binders into gift bags, which are sent for free, by request, to children and adolescents with ovarian cancers.
